moocs app Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 10, 2026

This privacy policy describes how moocs app handles user information.

Data The App Stores Locally

moocs app stores the following data locally on the user's device:

Data Sent To External Services

The app connects to INIAD MOOCs and related INIAD services when the user uses server-backed learning or locker features.

The app may open Google-hosted course materials when those materials are linked from MOOCs pages.

The optional AI assistant sends the user's question and selected page context to the AI endpoint configured by the user. The default endpoint is INIAD AI MOP. Before sending page context, the app redacts sensitive text such as email addresses, INIAD-account-like values, token-like values, cookies, authorization headers, and sensitive URL query values.

Tracking And Advertising

moocs app does not use advertising identifiers, App Tracking Transparency tracking, third-party advertising SDKs, or cross-app tracking.

Account Credentials And Secrets

INIAD passwords and AI API keys are stored in Keychain and are not included in bookmarks, history, assignments, notification payloads, or support materials generated by the app.

Notifications

Local assignment deadline notifications are scheduled on the user's device. Notification payloads use local assignment identifiers and sanitized URLs only.

Deletion Requests

Users can remove local app data by deleting the app from the device. For privacy or deletion requests related to support communications, use the support issue tracker and do not include secrets:

Changes

This policy may be updated when the app changes how it stores data, connects to services, or uses optional AI features.
